So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him: and made him [a]ruler of his house, and put all that he had in his hand.

And from that time that he had made him ruler over his house and over all that he had, the Lord [b]blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake: and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.

Therefore he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, [c]and took account of nothing, that was with him, save only of the bread, which he did eat. And Joseph was a fair person, and well favored.
